The Hamsa Hand – A Creative Process
This class is for those interested in the creative clay process of hand building. Open to all levels from beginner to advanced, students will explore methods of working and constructing with clay to build a Hamsa, a decorative plaque to protect your home against the ‘evil eye’ and all negative energies or feelings. Workshops participants will make one piece using clay, and will experiment with coloured slips & underglazes to alter the surface & colour. The final product will be dried & fired with a clear glaze, and available for pick up two to three weeks after the workshop.
