In a somewhat informal format, 3 different Yazidi teens, new to Winnipeg, tell their stories of their journey to Canada as well as their largest challenges following arrival and greatest achievements or sources of pride since arriving.  The format will allow for the attendees to ask many questions with plenty of time for responses.

Megan Sodomsky is a member of the Jewish community in Winnipeg who became involved with Operation Ezra during her conversion. Megan volunteers with the group assisting with housing, food projects, planning and EAL.
