Living abroad can present challenges in maintaining a Jewish lifestyle, and these challenges can vary depending on where you are staying. Living abroad can also enhance one’s connection to Judaism and bring meaningful and unique experiences. For example, celebrating Passover in Eastern Europe was an experience that both of us will treasure for the rest of our lives. Finding ways to keep up your own traditions as well as discover new ones are important lessons that we learned when living abroad, and we hope that sharing these experiences with our peers will encourage others to experience Judaism in all corners of the world.
