Sexual assault and harassment have been at the center of our conversations, especially since the grow of the #Metoo movement in 2017. On this presentation we will search in our tradition for sources that can contribute to our questions and hopes, studying biblical texts on sexual assault, coercion and victim-blaming, and their interpretation in the rabbinical literature. We will explore traditional and modern readings of ancient texts, thinking on the role that Judaism and Jewish institutions can have in healing and prevention
