Limmud Winnipeg 2019

With the legalization of recreational Marihuana in Canada many Jews have reached their Rabbis to ask what does Judaism say about it. Although there is no one and definitive answer, the wisdom of our Jewish Tradition has much to contribute to this discussion. During the presentation we will explore together different Jewish texts, from possible references to Cannabis in the Torah to the views of contemporary authorities, in order to find guidance from our tradition in the context of this new reality.
